Issue Description: Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to request your urgent assistance regarding a pending Challan Correction Request submitted on the e-Filing portal. I inadvertently deposited my Advance Tax for Assessment Year 2026-27 with incorrect details on 05-March-2026. The specific details are as follows: Challan No. —69 BSR Code 6390009 Date of Deposit: 05-03-2026 Amount Paid: Rs.250000 Error 1 (Minor Head): Selected 300 (Self-Assessment) instead of 100 (Advance Tax). Error 2 (Assessment Year): Selected 2025-26 instead of 2026-27. I submitted an online correction request via the e-Filing portal on 07-March-2026
Resolution: You are requested to submit your application along with the relevant documents (i.e. Indemnity Bond (on Rs. 100/- stamp paper) with 02 witnesses (non-related) along with their self-attested ID proof, copy of challan, copy of ITR, Form-16 and 26AS etc.) through ASK Center, B-Block, Ground Floor, Civic Center, New Delhi so as to enable this office to dispose off your Grievance. In view of above, E-Nivaran is treated as disposed off.
