What is an ARN Number and how to track my transaction with that number?

In the context of GST(Goods and Service Tax), ARN is the Application Reference Number. After an entity applies for GST Registration an ARN is sent to the registered email id. GST Registration is an application for a GST number or GSTIN.

The ARN is a 15 digit number after the GST Registration Application is submitted successfully

The entity can use this ARN to track its GST registration status.

Enter this ARN in Track GSTIN Application Tool to check the status of your GST Registration.

You can also track GSTIN application using GST Portal, follow these steps:

Step-1: Go to GST Portal

Step-2: Navigate to Services > Registration > Track Application Status: as displayed in the image below

Step-3: Enter the ARN you received at your Registered email id.

Step-4: Enter the captcha

Step-5: You can view the status and details of the GST Application.
