@Surbhi_Pal @TeamQuicko Good evening ma’am. First time i filed my IT with quicko. But unfortunately, i missed some F&O part in that. My ITR - 2 already processed by IT. Can i revise my ITR & add F&O details? If i add, it become ITR-3 (If i’m not wrong), so can i do that. Some of my friends are saying you can revise only existing ITR like ITR-2 means only you could modify related to that. Is it true.? I was about to revise but it’s shown pop-up like void of existing ITR so i stopped. Please advice me/us
Hi @moorthi
No, you can change the ITR type as well while filing the revised return. Once the revised return is filed, the original or the existing return shall become NULL and void as if it was never filed.
Hope this clarifies. Connect with me on Instagram @FinTaxSnippets for any further concerns in this regard.
Thanks,

Thanks sir. Any penalty will be imposed for revised filing (hope NO) and can i show my F&O loss and carry forward to next year. Basically my question is like any limitation for revised filing or it’s like before due date module. (No restrictions)
Hi @moorthi,
Yes, you’ll be able to file a revised ITR and add the details that have been missed. The ITR form will change to ITR-3.
You can file the same via Quicko. However, make sure to enter the details of the original ITR (acknowledgement number) by navigating to file > additional details > filing type > revise return.
