If the first auditor of the company is appointment through a board meeting, the due date to file ADT-1 is 15 days from such meeting. If the auditor is appointed in EGM, the due date to file ADT-1 is within 15 days of EGM.

The consent letter given by an auditor at the time of appointment shall contain the details of the firm like name, membership number, FRN, address, email Id, PAN, etc and also a certificate as prescribed in Section 139(1) of Companies Act, 2013.
