@quicko I participated in a competition organised by a US company online and won around $100(the prize money) but received around ₹9000 directly in my bank account. How do I report this income, under foreign income or other income while filing ITR. I don’t have any other type of foreign income
Report the converted INR value of the prize under Income from Other Sources in your ITR. Do not classify it as general foreign salary/business income or leave it unreported just because it came from a US entity.
