GST unrealised input credit

Can we surrender GST if we do not have revenue of more than INR 20Lakhs? Can we get refund of input credit lying in the account? Can we ask employer to pay us as professional charges instead of salary income?

Yes sure, firstly you have to resign for this company after that you can charge a consultancy fees

Hey @SSB,

Yes, you can surrender your GSTN if the revenue is below ₹20L. Moreover, you can claim a refund of the unutilised input credit.

Thanks. Am not in the employment yet. But have request organisation for professional instead of payroll
