How to withdraw the tax deducted for persons working as a freelancer / consultant

Hi,
Can you please explain how to withdraw the amount (10% of monthly salary) that is being deducted at source since i am working as a consultant.
I am falling with in 5Lakh income category and hence no tax is applicable.

Hi @Badhri_Narayanan.B.R, the amount that gets deducted as TDS when you get paid shall be refunded to you when you file your ITR. As you mention there is no tax applicable, all the TDS that has been deducted shall be refunded to you when you file your Income Tax Return.
