How the income earned online jobs,blogs,writings are taxable?

If you are running your own blog and earn through brand partnerships and advertisements, or as a freelancer for someone, then it will be taxed under the head - ‘Income from business & profession’.
However, if you are writing blogs for someone else as an employee, it will be considered as Salary income.
