I paid the tax liability in respect of tax demand.
,in the portal ,in the section of outstanding demand showing no demand yet i received a physical copy of intimation through speed post with the same amount and assesment year which i already paid,i have also the challan receipt download from payment history ,please help me

You can verify the date of intimation, and if it matches the notice date shown on the portal, it’s possible that the notice was received via courier at a later time.
