I have been filing ITR 3 due to derivative trading income under the old tax regime. This year the quicko tax computation shows that the new tax regime will result in a lower tax for FY22-23. If I move to new regime, will I have to stay with it forever or can I change back if next year the old tax regime is more beneficial?

A person opting for the new regime and having income from business & profession has the option of switching regimes once in a lifetime.
