Revised return of itr

I filed ITR as individual resident for AY2022-23 under salary,capital gain & other sources under OLD SCHEME.I wish to file revised return under NEW SCHEME As i realise that the same shall be beneficial.Is it allowed under the act?

I have already filled my IT return 3 days back… I was having some doubt so I chosen to go for revise ITR. but after reviewing I found the return which I had filled 3 days is correct. Now if I do not submit my revised itr will they consider my first ITR as my IT return.

If you’ve e-filed and e-verified your original return, the ITD will process that only.
If you have revised and e-verified the revised return, your revised return will be processed.
