Tax harvesting on Equity and Mutual Funds

I might buy stocks or mutual funds on different date. But how will I know those equities are Crossed 1 year of period (Long Term)? Then only I have to sell those stocks or mutual funds for tax harvesting and invest again?

You can identify equity holdings older than 1 year by checking your broker’s Tax Harvesting Report / Capital Gains Statement, downloading a CAS for mutual funds, or calculating 365 days from each purchase date using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rule.
