Hi Akash,

The Income Tax Department has made it compulsory for all taxpayers to link their Aadhaar card with PAN. Read the full press release.

Link PAN with Aadhaar immediately. Here’s how.

If you don’t have an Aadhaar, you must register first and then link it with your PAN card.

This must be done by 31 March 2021. Your PAN can become invalid if you fail to link it to Aadhaar.

Hi,
When I am trying to file my returns, income tax says date of birth mismatch between my PAN and my profile (Income Tax). However, my PAN is linked to AADHAAR and DOB is same across PAN and AADHAAR. How would I be able to update DOB in my profile?

Hey @Debasish_Maitra, You can verify if there is a mismatch in your data by using the “Compare with PAN & Aadhaar” option on the “My Profile” page of your Income Tax Account page. If there seems to be no mismatch between your data according to it, then it would be recommended to file a grievance on the portal to expedite the process of filing your return. Hi, I want to get a pan card for a building association, I have already applied for the same using AOP( Association of Persons) option and submit Memorandum of Association attested by the Notary.
But pan authority ask any other profe of Association Name such as Registration Certificate or Agreement.

Could you please suggest the agreement format for the same?

ID associated with your PAN card is deleted, you may lose access to important updates, notifications, and communication from the Income Tax Department. To avoid any inconvenience, it’s recommended to update your email ID on the official portal.

Then they say that there is nothing problem with that

Once pan card number generated then pan card is valid

There is nothing problem with email ID if deleted
