Tax Filing on Quicko

Hi @Raj_Thom

Please Submit a ticket : Help Center and our sales team will connect with you and answer all your queries.

How could I declare my foreign investment through Quicko?
Where can I find the “CIN” number of the companies I invested in?
Is this any tutorial for it?

Hi @Ansh_Prakash

You are required to report all your foreign holdings under Schedule FA while filing your ITR.
As of now, Quicko does not support this feature, hence you’ve 2 alternatives:

  1. Quicko DIY: Prepare your Income Tax Return on Quicko, download the JSON , upload it on IT Portal Utility > Add Schedule FA, and file the ITR using the income tax utility.
  2. Quicko MEET: Book a MEET , where a tax expert from our team can help you add schedule FA, review the entire ITR, and file taxes for you.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I am filing taxes for AY 2022-2023.
I filled everything last year and was late to file taxes, so I paid the penalty of 1000/- already last year.
I clicked the button file the taxes on quicko portal but it did not seem to work and now when I checked IT portal it says no taxes are filed for AY 2022-23.
I am trying to click on file now… but portal does not work… Can you please help on how to do tax filing (Late original return)

Hi @srikar

Filing for FY 2021-22/AY 2022-23 is not supported on Quicko as of now.

You can file an updated return (ITR U) for AY 2022-23.

For expert assistance with your taxes, you can book a MEET.

In section I have show in it filling about personal loan it is mandatory or not

Hi @Riturajsinghthakur

A personal loan is not required to be disclosed in your ITR 1/2 if your total income does not exceed ₹50 lakhs in a FY.

HI,

How can I filed updated return ITR U by myself on quicko?

Hi @srikar

As of now, ITR U is not supported on Quicko.

However, you can book a MEET, and file the return with the help of a tax expert.

This seems to be indirectly pushing users to use paid service by delaying this fix :frowning:

Hi @srikar

You can file ITR U yourself as well on the Income tax e-filing portal, in case you do not want expert assistance as the ITR U feature is not supported on Quicko.

Quicko supports filing of the current AY only.

i paid for PRO but due to pan issue i m not able to file

Hi @sravani.velugu_mohan

Please Submit a ticket : Help Center with your query and our team will look into the same.

I have a raised a ticket with my proper PAN number attached. Please change that

53702

Please check this ticket and let me know soon. I want to file ITR by tomorrow if you update my PAN where i have attached in the support ticket

Is there any plan to enable ITR U for last year to enable that feature in near future… ? Or its not gonna be fixed and not in the planning at all.

Hi @srikar

It is in our pipeline. We are continuously working on bringing in new features to our product.

Do you have any ETA for this feature ?

Hi Anybody facing this issue in quicko?
Please see below the numbers from Chapter VI-A deductions.
The eligible amounts in tax breaks - 80C, 80G and 80GG are not reflected properly. I raised the ticket but quicko team is not responding timely.

Summary

1,24,126 =Total Eligible
45,858 = Taxes Before
13,495 = Taxes After
32,363 = Savings

Deductions -
80C, 80CCC, 80CCD(1) =
150000 of 150000

80D =
15500 of 15500

80G =
4128 of 19610

80TTA/TTB =
10000 of 41450

80GG =
3,112 of 2,58,000

Anyone knows the reason?

Hi @Charudatt

This might be because you don’t have enough relevant income to claim these deductions.
Also, I have raised the query to our team and you shall hear back from us on the ticket.
